It’s true they aren’t any cheaper to run than another quartz heater with a fan 1500W.of power cost the same but the type of heat is where you save with a plain quartz heater most of the heat goes up to the ceiling where a Confortzone heats the floor area they don’t heat 900sq.ft. it take 4 of them in order to heat 900sq.ft. then you have to have 6in. walls with insulated windows in order to save you have to take them to a dealer an have them calibrated with a calibration remote as far as saving we have propane it would cost $770 for heat a month an it cost $332 to run the Confortzones and $56 m for every thing else a month we turned our gas furnace off 2yrs. ago we purchased 7 Confortzones we gave 3 to our children there house is small an they save a lot they were paid for the first winter by the savings over propane the trick to saving is to have them calibrated so they control temp by turning off the quartz heating element the fan never turns off the Confortzone company claims they had a testing company do the testing they came up with the 900sq.ft. the Confortzone company didn’t do the testing the testing company must have done the testing in a house with 30in. walls and no windows for one heater to heat 900sq.ft.
