Spoilers!
This book is about a 12 year old criminal mastermind by the name of Artemis Fowl. For once we are actually on the side of the villain! Now, the book summary is a little bit misleading and sounds rather cheesy to me:
“These aren’t the fairies of bedtime stories. These fairies are armed and they’re dangerous.”
This does not do the book justice in my opinion. I would never have read the book if the librarian hadn’t recommended it. Many of the one star reviews go on and on about how there are so many typos. Well, in almost every book there are typos, and I found I didn’t notice them unless I was actually looking for them. Plus, I see them in Harry Potter, Nancy Drew, and many other noteworthy books.
I thought it was very nice to be rooting for the villain for once, and the fact that he wins in the end is even better. I love Butler the butler, and I thought how Eoin Colfer gave background info on every character was wonderful. I thought that he did a really good job describing the characters emotions and what motivates them. Artemis wants more money because he believes it will make him happier. Butler wants to be a good bodyguard, and Holly Short wants to please her commander and do a good job in LEPrecon, her job. Mulch (perhaps one of my top three favorite characters) just wants to escape prison, and he manages it!
I have recommended this book to several of my friends and they love it, also I think adults would enjoy it as well, my mother did. I thought that the ending was very well done with Artemis sacrificing half the gold to have Holly heal his mother, who is very sick, and doesn’t always recognize him. I also thought that Holly was a very well done character, and I enjoy seeing a girl portrayed as tough and smart. Overall a very good book, which has made it into my top ten books of all time.

I’ve had it for 3 months now and it really helped me train and run my first 5k in over 10 years. I charge it once a week or less and have had no problems. I’ve heard people complain about the gps satalite aquire times and I don’t know what they are talking about. I’ve used a number of gps units from hand held to aviation and this watch actually aquires the satalites quicker than my garmin aviation model (196). It does take a little time to learn all the features and that is probably because it has a lot of features. I call it as I see it on reviews. If it was crap I’d call it crap but this thing provides a lot of value for a buck fifty.

Over the years I’ve had several different Garmin products. For a while, I liked the suction mount, but in hot or cold conditions, the suction can give up. This mount is perfect for my Nuvi. It is a quality product!

I really do not understand why people are buying this product. It’s just a normal scale. When I saw the reviews I was very much impressed and I ordered this scale. To my biggest disappointment this scale was just another ordinary scale with a fancy look. Ya if you want a fancy looking scale which looks different from all the bulky scales out in market then I would say go get this scale. I used this scale and I have to say that this scale is no better than what is being said in the reviews. There was a lot of difference in what it showed in this scale and the other scales that I used on the same day same time. This scale was not even close. The top portion is made up of solid glass so I would assume that you have to be a little careful not to break it. I don’t think I need a scale which is so fragile and I have to end up using it with caution every time. I finally returned it to the seller. The seller seems to be good enough as I got the item fast(shipped to me fast) and also the return processing went fast.
Continental Ultra Sport Clincher
This product was what I hoped it would be when I installed it. Installation was easy, and I loaded it on a new computer with Windows 7 (64 bit), which I was a little concerned about since this program is 32 bit. So far it works great with no hiccups. If something should eventually come up I’ll post another review, but for now it works fine.
