Worth The Money…. I bought this bike because GMC Topkick Dual-Suspension Mountain Bike had pretty good reviews…and honestly, at 200 lbs. I needed a bike just a little more heavy duty than what was available in a dept. store…When it got delivered, I was quite impressed with the overall build and features of the bike. With dual disc brakes (that work great), quick release hubs and seat post, heavy duty V-rims… shimano componants…it really is quite a nice bike for the price. I’ve seen many argue that you should go to a bike shop for a bike…well, I looked around, you can expect to pay between well over $1000. to around $7000. for a dual suspension bike. GET REAL…I only paid $5100. for a brand new Honda XR-650 (motorcycle)…I’ve ridden this bike many times now without any problems. Keep in mind, however, that most bikes will need to be “fine tuned” when put together (brake adjustment, derailleur adjustment)These are very simple to do…If you arent sure, go to YouTube…you can find how-to videos there. All in all, I would surely recommend this bike to a friend if you are looking for something just a little nicer than your average dept. store bike.
